‘Tis the season to be jolly!
The spirit of Christmas has been felt across Mabalacat City as it victoriously launches its Christmas Village with a theme ‘Magarbong Crismas 2022’ last Dec. 02 along MacArthur Highway, Brgy. Mabiga.
Mayor Crisostomo Garbo (MCG), together with Vice Mayor Gerald Guttrie Aquino and city councilors Cherry Manalo, Rox Peña, Liza Pineda, and Marjorie Sambo, led the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas Village.
In his speech, MCG emphasized the importance of celebrating the Yuletide season with our loved ones especially after 2 years of not being able to, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“It’s time that we celebrate this season together with family and friends here in our Christmas Village, and create new good memories,” said the mayor Garbo also expressed his gratitude to the members of the city council, department heads and local government employees who were behind the preparation.
Pampanga 1st District Board Member Krizzanel ‘Winwin’ Garbo and Mabalacat City Chief of Police PLtCol Abraham Abayari also graced the event.
The Christmas Village, which features various attractions, including life-sized statues, booths, and different programs, will remain open to public until Jan. 15, 2023.
