CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Parts of Nueva Ecija and Aurora will experience up to 11 hours of power service interruption on June 15, Thursday, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said yesterday.

“Customers of Neeco II Area 1, Neeco II Area 2 in Nueva Ecija and Aurelco in Aurora will have outage from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.,” said NGCP corporate and public affairs officer Ernest Lorenz Vidal.

He said that in Nueva Ecija, the affected towns include Talavera, General Natividad and Bongabon, while in Aurora, affected are the towns of Dingalan, San Luis, Maria Aurora, Baler, and Dipaculao.

“The power interruption would be to facilitate the replacement of rotten wood poles, cross arms including broken or damaged insulators, corroded OHGW and other maintenance works inside Cabanatuan Substation and along the line. Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion,” Vidal added.
