In a report, Mabalacat police chief Supt. Juritz Rara identified the two suspects in his city as Christina Ocampo, 38, of Roxas St., and Michael Erana, 42, of Magsasay St.
In Guagua, Supt. Levi Hope Basilio identified the arrested suspects as Denden Ocampo, 32, a construction worker from Barangay San Pedro and, Noel Tungol, 40, of Barangay Bancal in his town.
The police at Camp Olivas said the arrests followed tips from civilians in the two areas where the buy-bust operations were held over the weekend.
In Mabalacat, the police seized from the suspects three pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets with suspected shabu, as well as a marked P500 bill cop-poseurs used for the operation. In Guagua, three sachets of suspected shabu were also confiscated by the police from the suspects.
Roxas Street in Mabalacat has long been known as “mecca’ of drug trade in Pampanga, but illegal drug operations there have significantly ceased after Mayor Marino Morales ordered a more vigorous crackdown against illicit drugs.
