TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Tarlac honed the skills of 175 students of Tarlac State University (TSU) on negotiation activities through a hybrid seminar.
This is part of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) which carries the tagline Harnessing Our Own Resources for the Advancement of the Youth (HOORAY).
During the activity, Mr. John Paul Lanot cited effective communications and audience identification as key factors in negotiation activities.
Meanwhile, Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist Ana Marie Tabamo cited DTI’s programs and other upcoming activities designed to stir their entrepreneurial interests, and to boost their business plans.
Tabamo explained that YEP encourages and develops students to start their business ventures.
“YEP gears to address the young demographics of the country to become productive individuals through entrepreneurship, and directed towards assisting the youth in exploring their full potential to become successful entrepreneurs,” she said.
YEP was implemented in partnership with TSU and the Provincial Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Council. (MJSC/TJBM PIA-3)
