TARLAC CITY (PIA) — A total of 41 store owners in La Paz, Tarlac received business kits from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Each received groceries under the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) of the agency.
DTI OIC-Provincial Director Florencia Balilo said PPG is a livelihood seeding and entrepreneurship development program for micro enterprises that prioritizes areas affected by fire incidents and other calamities, including armed conflicts and health disasters.
Mayor Venus Jordan expressed his gratitude for DTI’s help to local entrepreneurs.
“In the entire province of Tarlac, we are among the municipalities which received the most assistance from DTI. Let us cherish this toward the continuous progress of our town,” he said.
Apart from the livelihood kits, DTI prepared various seminars to help beneficiaries further develop their businesses. (CLJD/TJBM-PIA 3)
