SEC-TEO received a certificate of appreciation for its contributions in the development of organizations during the 3rd annual convention of SWDAs in the region.

“We are well abreast of the role of DSWD and SWDAs in promoting the welfare of the poor, disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals, families and communities,” SEC-TEO Director Richard Laus said.

Laus assured the SWDAs of the continuous service of the commission from registration to submission of annual requirements.

SWDAs are non-governmental organizations accredited by DSWD to provide social welfare services to communities and deliver quality services and programs to the disadvantaged sectors.

“We are open to address your needs and concerns regarding Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory requirements as well as requests for no derogatory information certificate, and other services we can offer you,” Laus guaranteed.

SEC-TEO served as resource speakers in the series of face-to-face seminars DSWD conducted for SWDAs in the provinces of Tarlac, Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales and Nueva Ecija. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3)
