CABANATUAN CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a total of four multipurpose buildings in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija.
They are located in barangays Mangga, Sto. Cristo, Tabon and Alua with the latter two built within the compound of public schools.
Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad said DPWH is steadfast in the implementation of projects that will provide the public with safe and spacious facilities that can be used as a place for school-related activities and delivery of basic services.
“The two multipurpose facilities built within the schools will provide our teachers with additional spaces that will help them better carry out their responsibilities. The local government can also use the other two as offices in that deliver social services to the communities,” Trinidad furthered.
These facilities with a total cost of P11.7 million were implemented under the agency’s Basic Infrastructure Program.
It was funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act.
