GAPAN CITY – A 17-year-old student in the local police’s most wanted list for a
string of sexual assault charges was arrested in a police operation in Barangay San
Lorenzo here at about 4 p.m. Friday.
Armed with a couple of arrest warrants for rape and acts of lasciviousness,
policemen operatives placed the suspect under its custody “for proper
disposition.”
Lt. Col. Alexie Desamito, city police chief, said the suspect was subject of arrest
warrants issued by the Regional Trial Court of Gapan City for charges in
connection with sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl sometime in April 2018,
January 2019, April 2020, and February 2021, all in Barangay San Lorenzo here.
The warrants were issued on July 21, 2022 and received by the city police on Aug.
5, police said.
The court recommended a bail of P180,000 for his temporary liberty on the acts
of lasciviousness cases but ruled no bail on the rape case, police said.
Desamito said the arrest was conducted with the support of other police units
