BALER, Aurora (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways completed two basic infrastructure projects in barangay Tanawan in Dingalan, Aurora.
It includes a paved 0.558-lane kilometer section of a local road and two-classroom building at Tanawan Elementary School.
Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said these were completed as scheduled.
“Improving basic infrastructure facilities contributes to local development and poverty reduction and it also helps in providing the public with better social services. That is why we fully support the government’s initiative to bring more projects to communities that still lack socio-economic infrastructures,” he stressed.
The two-classroom school building will provide pupils with safe learning spaces now that face-to-face classes are set to fully resume soon.
These projects worth P13.68 million were funded under the 2022 national budget. (CLJD-PIA 3)
