STA. MARIA, Bulacan – The Social Security System (SSS) issued written orders to delinquent employers in Sta. Maria during the Run After Contributions Evaders (RACE) Campaign on July 22.
Six delinquent employers from various sectors were ordered to settle their SSS legal obligations with a total amount of P5.6 million, with the option to avail of the Pandemic Relief and Restructuring Program (PRRP 3) or Enhanced Installment Payment Program.
“We encourage all delinquent employers, whether or not they were subjected to RACE operations, to settle their delinquencies as soon as possible. Failure to comply with the issued order will force the SSS to take legal action against them, which we do not want to happen,” said SSS Vice President for Luzon Central 2 Division Gloria Corazon M. Andrada.
The PRRP 3 or Enhanced Installment Payment Program allows qualified employers to settle their past-due Social Security (SS) and Employee’s Compensation (EC) contributions through installment terms ranging from nine to 60 months, depending on the total amount of delinquency. This program will run until November 21, 2022.
Qualified employers are advised to visit SSS Sta. Maria Branch located at the Angelica Building, along Gov. Fortunato Halili Avenue, Bagbaguin, Sta. Maria, Bulacan to coordinate with their assigned Account Officer who will assist them with their application.
“Our main goal in this activity is to help our delinquent employers in regaining their good standing with SSS while securing the benefits of their employees. It is always our priority to provide the best services to our members. We can only do so if employers will pay the right contributions of their hardworking employees on a timely and regular basis as mandated by Republic Act 11199 or Social Security Act of 2018,” Andrada concluded.
