FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija – To enhance writing, communication and public
engagement skills of its troops, the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division through its
public affairs office conducted a media skills development training.
Held at the Kaugnay Hall here, the training participated in by personnel from
different line units of 7ID, tackled essential strategies in news data gathering,
basic videography and photography technique, news script writing and video
editing, specifically directed at the betterment of the Kaugnay Virtual TV program.
Resource person John Paul S. Seniel encouraged the participants to strive more to
become “better Army news reporters.”
Division PO chief Capt. Cherry Gervacio applauded the participants for their active
participation in the said activity.
With the training, 7ID commander Maj. Gen. Andrew D. Costelo said foresees a
better and more efficient news coverage of the division and better news
appreciation for the troops and the community.
