ANGELES CITY — All 4,380 employees here — permanent, casual, contractual and Contract of Service — are set to receive one-month supply of Vitamin C and multivitamin supplements from the city government.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. turned over the vitamins to the Association of Government Employees for a New Dynamic Angeles City (AGENDA) today, July 7, 2022.

Flordeliza Santos, President of AGENDA, said that among the beneficiaries are the 872 permanent, 344 casual, 17 contractual personnel; and 3,147 COS employees.

The distribution per office will be via schedule to observe safety protocols. The schedule will be announced on their official Facebook page — Manggagawang Angeleño.

Santos thanked Lazatin for remaining true to his promise of looking out for the welfare of employees, as well as giving value not just for their hard work but also for their health.

According to Santos, Mayor Lazatin’s love for the employees go beyond the roof, wherein the benefits being given to the employees are continuous, even in the face of the pandemic.

Santos also ensures that AGENDA is one with Mayor Lazatin in the pursuit of delivering quality service for the betterment of Angeles City and its people.

She also congratulated Mayor Lazatin on taking his oath for a second term.

To recall, all COS employees first received their year-end gratuity of P3,000 in 2020 and 2021 during Mayor Lazatin’s first term as city Mayor.
