TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a multi-purpose hall in barangay San Andres in Victoria, Tarlac.
Implemented by Tarlac 1st District Engineer Office, the P4.8 million-infrastructure was funded under the 2021 national budget.
“This is expected to provide residents with an indoor facility that can be used in the delivery of basic health services and for holding sports and other social activities,” District Engineer Neil Farala said.
“Our office is keen on upgrading public facilities in barangay San Andres and we would like to assure our local officials of our commitment to continue implementing rural infrastructure improvement projects as part of our investment priorities,” he furthered.
Governor Susan Yap, outgoing Victoria Mayor and Tarlac 2nd district representative-elect Christian Yap and Farala led the inauguration of the multi-purpose hall.
Other attendees include outgoing Vice Mayor and Mayor-elect Rex Villa Agustin and members of the Sangguniang Bayan. (CLJD-PIA 3)
