OLONGAPO CITY – Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon office swooped down a suspected makeshift drug den and arrested three suspects during in a drug sting in Barangay Gordon Heights here Sunday night.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Merlinda Cabatingan Y Dela Torre, 72, and Ramil Marcelino Y Ramos, 36, both of Cell 1, Gordon Heights; and Anthony Sumeguin Y Abarondo, 42, of 35 Woodhouse, Gordon Heights.
Confiscated from the suspects were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing some 13 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P89,700, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the P500 bill buy-bust money.
All the suspects now face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
