CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—A newly-constructed school building in Barangay San Felipe here was inaugurated Thursday by Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin and the City Schools Division of San Fernando led by Dr. Imelda Macaspac.

The two-story four-classroom building with integrated rest rooms and hand washing stations will cater to the junior high school students of Archbishop Emilio Cinense Memorial Integrated School (AECMIS).

Edgar Yutuc, AECMIS head, said each room will cater to only 20 JHS students attending face-to-face classes, in adherence to health protocols due to the ongoing pandemic.

The school is set to host its high school students for in-person classes starting next week.

The schools division said the city will open four other school buildings as part of Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago’s five-year infrastructure plan for schools.

The new infrastructures include a three-level, nine-classroom building at the San Jose Panlumacan Integrated School which will be inaugurated on Friday.
