BALANGA CITY – The three-day national vaccination program against the coronavirus disease known as “Bayanihan Bakunahan” already on part 4 started in Bataan Thursday and to last until Saturday.
Health workers at the covered court near the public market in Samal, Bataan that served as vaccination site in the town said residents started coming early and more than 300 were already inoculated against Covid – 19 before 12:00 noon.
After lunchtime, only a few came but medical workers patiently waited, ready to serve those who still decided to come in the afternoon.
The situation was also true at the main vaccination center of the province at the provincial health office in Balanga City where mostly children came in the afternoon. Capitol security officers said there were many vaccinees in the morning.
Gov. Albert Garcia said the province is cooperating with the fourth National Vaccination Program of the Department of Health that goes on from March 10 – 12, 2022.
Garcia said walk-ins are allowed in any vaccination site in 11 towns and one city in the province.
