TARLAC CITY — Sapang National High School (SNHS) in Moncada, Tarlac received a set of interactive teaching aid from Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
DOST Provincial Director Karen Dañez said this is expected to enhance teaching and learning experiences for both teachers and learners.
“It includes lectures, quizzes, exercises, and simulated laboratory experiments which can be viewed through a television screen,” she explained.
Meanwhile, SNHS Principal Manuelito Yangco said the interactive teaching aid will be used in the advanced science, technology, and engineering subjects of junior high school students.
“We are grateful that we were chosen to be awarded this project, it is a huge help to the academic performance of our learners,” she said.
The P444,850 worth interactive teaching aid was proposed by the municipal government.
It was funded under DOST’s Municipal Innovation through Science and Technology Project. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3 with Sheen Sarceda-intern)
