TARLAC CITY — Philippine Information Agency (PIA) underscored that every vote is crucial in electing competent, deserving and conscientious leaders this coming National and Local Elections 2022.
During the first leg of Kilos Kabataan: Makibahagi sa Halalan! voter’s education webinar, PIA Regional Director William Beltran urged Tarlac youth to be responsible in voting as a single vote matters in building and transforming a nation.
“Let’s all be reminded that we have the responsibility to choose the right persons who could lay down good governance all throughout their administration. We need to ensure that we elect the ones who could best carry the torch of immense responsibility to the lead the whole nation,” he said.
Beltran added that the youth must keep in mind the impact of their votes in the over-all result of 2022 polls.
Also, he reiterated the need to review and assess the qualifications and values of the candidates in a bid to select the right people for a particular position.
“This coming May 9, our right to vote should be one of our accountable priorities as responsible voters. We have to be futuristic in thinking about the future generation of Filipinos by electing officials properly. We need to consider the past lessons we had and the present situations we’re having, and come up with a conscientious vote cum election day,” he noted.
