MABALACAT CITY – Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga and the city police seized some P3.4-million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation Sunday.
Arrested in the operation was the suspected drug peddler identified as Dennis Balaba y Cabero, 45, resident of 7th St., Barangay Lakandula, Mabalacat City.
A PDEA report said “five knot-tied transparent plastic sachets containing MOL [more or less] 500 grams of shabu with estimated street value of P3,400,000” along with the marked money from the poseur-buyer were confiscated from the suspect.
Charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Balaba, PDEA furthered.
