IBA, Zambales — A drug den was dismantled following the – The joint operatives of PNP and PDEA dismantled a drug den following the arrest of five suspects that also yielded 17.12 grams of shabu worth P111,280 in a buy-bust in Sitio Tahimik, Purok 3C, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic town Friday.

A report to Zambales police director Col. Romano Velayo Cardiño said joint elements of SDEU operatives of Subic MPS led by Lt. Noel P. Villajuan, PDEA Zambales led by IA III Marlou M. Ordoño, Zambales PDEU led by Lt. Niño Ryan R. Opinga under the over-all supervision of Major San Juan Felmar D. Aquino, acting chief of police of Subic conducted the buy-bust covered with PDEA Coordination Control Number 10004-112021-0562 approved by Director III Bryan B. Rabang.

The arrested suspects were identified as Waldo Miranda y Navera, 61, the alleged drug den maintainer, of Barangay Calapacuan, Subic; Michelle Limuran y Realino, 38. of Barangay Matain, Subic; Jeffrey Doctolero y Gosuico, 44, of Barangay San Jose, Castillejos; Alvin Villas y Calixto, 44, of Barangay Barretto, Olongapo City; and Ronaldo Miranda y Dionoso, 39, of Barangay Calapacuan, Subic.

Confiscated from the suspects were one sachet of suspected shabu (buy- bust item); seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu; one P500 bill; one black coin purse; two pieces of assorted lighters; two improvise foil tooters; four small strip foil serving as improvised runway; two open transparent plastic sachets containing traces of suspected shabu; and one open transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.

All suspects were detained at Subic MPS jail facing charges for violations of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
