LLANERA, Nueva Ecija – A 44-year-old man was shot dead by two unidentified men while sleeping with his two minor children in their house at Purok 4, Barangay Inanama this municipality at about 2:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1.
Police identified the victim as Alberto Francisco who reportedly died instantly due to gunshot wounds in his chest and face.
Investigation disclosed the victim was sleeping together with his sons, aged 11 and 7 years, when the suspects on board a motorcycle barged into the house and without a word fired at him twice.
A dragnet operation was launched as authorities have yet to establish the identities of the suspects and motive behind the killing, police said.
