MABALACAT CITY – The Mabalacat City government through its city information office has launched its new radio program dubbed “Tatak MCG: Bayung Mabalacat” via RW 95.1 FM on August 3.
Tatak MCG: Bayung Mabalacat will discuss updates on the current state of the city and its vaccination program. The radio program is anchored by its city information officer Jay Pelayo IV together with Ray Alvin Dasal and Amir Morales.
The first guest on its pilot episode was Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, interviewed via phone patch. Garbo reiterated the strict measures in order to control the spread of the Covid-19 delta variant.
Garbo also asked his constituents to personally come to him on concerns involving the city and encouraged its residents and netizens to approach him instead of posting various concerns on social media.
“Nariyan lang po ako sa city hall, madalas po alas-sais ng umaga nariyan na po ako,” said Garbo.
“Puntahan ninyo ako at ako mismo ang sasagot sa inyo. Hindi kayo sasagutin ng social media pero ako kaya ko kayong kausapin,” Garbo added.
Garbo also shared his strategy on the mobilization of the city’s vaccination program.
Tatak MCG: Bayung Mabalacat is aired every Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and streamed simultaneously on Mabalacat City News Facebook page.
