CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Taguig-Pateros First District lawmaker Alan Peter Cayetano met with the representatives of his Presyo, Trabaho, Kita/Kaayusan (PTK) program at Sindalan Sports Complex here on Monday.
The former speaker said since 2013, the PTK has helped improve the livelihoods of low-income families and eradicate the ‘5-6’ lending system through multipurpose cooperative loans that are part of the PTK program.
Among the beneficiaries of the PTK who were present at the meeting were from Angeles-San Fernando Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association (ASFERJODA), San Fernando-Angeles Compound Jeepney Drivers and Operators Association (SFACJODA), officers of the multipurpose cooperatives and public market vendors. Representatives of the groups also shared their testimonies and thanked Cayetano in helping them even amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cayetano distributed grocery packs and immunity kits to different PTK groups here as well as P50-K as an additional financial assistance to help them amid the pandemic. P10-K worth of financial assistance each were also given to some 20 PTK beneficiaries of mostly farmers in Guagua under his Sampung Libong Pag-asa program.
Cayetano also thanked Mayor Edwin Santiago for attending the meeting to show his continuous support in his advocacies. The meeting was also attended by Sindalan Barangay Captain Benjie Angeles, as well as Mica Gonzales and Engr. Brenz Gonzales on behalf of 3rd District Representative Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales.
