OLONGAPO CITY— A construction worker wanted for rape was arrested by joint elements of the city police, mobile force company, and the Zambales police intelligence unit 3 along Roman Super Hi-way corner Mulawin Road, Barangay Tala Orani, Bataan on Friday.
City police director Col. Jeric P. Villanueva said that Major Joven John L. Camarao led the manhunt operation that led to the arrest of Marlon Balucan y Labrador, 23, presently residing at Barangay Pag-asa, Sitio Tamak, Orani, Bataan.
Balucan was arrested by virtue of of a warrant of arrest issued on Feb. 26, 2020 by Presiding Judge Gemma Theresa B Hilario-Logronio of Regional Trial Court, Branch 12-FC, Olongapo City-Zambales, pursuant to Criminal Case no. 2019-429FC for the crime of rape, with no bail recommended.
Report said the suspect is listed among the most wanted persons of the city police, and ranked No.6 in Police Station 4 Sibat Target Phase 3.
Balucan is now detained at the Police Station 3 cell.
