DINALUPIHAN, Bataan
The wearing of face masks even inside ones residence is strongly advised in this town to avoid the spread of the deadly coronavirus disease, Mayor Maria Angela Garcia announced Thursday.

The use of the protective item inside homes here is specially recommended when a family member works or travels daily and when living with the elderly and vulnerable.

Social gatherings are not allowed inside residences while accepting visitors, especially from the “NCR plus Bubble” as declared by the national government is discouraged.

The mayor said these are some of the provisions in her Executive Order No. 12 concerning the implementation of Covid19 health and safety protocols in her municipality. The EO takes effect from March 24 to April 4, 2021.

Under the National Capital Region bubble set-up are Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal where there are spikes in Covid-19 cases.

Garcia said the EO also sets curfew in 46 barangays from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. when no person shall be allowed to go out of residence except for essential travel, in case of emergency and government and private employees allowed under the modified general community quarantine.

Attendance to religious gatherings is limited to 30 percent of the seating capacity of the venue. Those below 15 years old and over 65 years old, with co-morbidity and pregnant women are not permitted to join religious gatherings.

Minimum public health standards shall be enforced and implemented including proper wearing of face masks and face shields, physical distancing of at least six feet, temperature screening and disinfection at entrance of the venue.

Religious activities like procession, salubong, among some others are prohibited outside the church. Penitentia, pabasa, kalbaryo are not allowed.

Sale, distribution and consumption of liquor and alcoholic beverages are banned during the effectivity of the EO.
