MABALACAT CITY — In celebration of the National Arts Month, the Mabalacat City College (MCC) launched its art exhibit dubbed “Sibul ning Kalalangan” on Tuesday.
Spearheaded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, the event opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by MCC president Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong together with the Mabalacat City Arts and Tourism Council composed of Robby Tantingco, Alex Castro, Arch. Mar de Castro, Francis Musni, and Noel Tulabut.
The art exhibit showcased various paintings and sculptures created by local artists Dodjie Aguinaldo, Jerome Barbadillo, Ronald Buenacifra Jr., Lloyd Dacayanan, Erwin Dayrit, Gerald Dela Cruz, Alvin Dungca, Arnel David Garcia, Berlin Guanlao, Gilbert Gungon, Jhune Lobo, Dan Manalo, Andy Ramos, Rod Siron, LJ Susi, Richard Sy, Nico Tulabut, Eugene Ngo, Alnie Mae Tolentino Cano, and Demi Dolandolan.
Sibul ning Kalalangan art exhibit is open to the public from Feb. 9 to 26. Covid-19 protocols are strictly enforced with regular scheduled disinfection in the campus.
