Thus, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo exhorted the second batch of beneficiaries of P10,000 grant (each) under the city government’s Women Empowerment through Livelihood Entrepreneurship Advancement Program supervised by the Gender and Development Office.
WE LEAP aims to provide financial capital to indigent women and solo parents to set up small livelihood activities to help augment the family income especially in these pandemic times.
The beneficiaries will undergo close monitoring to assess the progress as well as the needs of their chosen livelihood projects.
With the mayor during the distribution of the grant were GAD office chief Charlo Costales and Ruth G. Baldoz, president of the Mabalacat City Association of Empowered Women.
