CITY OF SAN FERNANDO
About 474 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of some P3.22 million were seized by the Pampanga provincial drug enforcement unit in a recent buy-bust operation in barangay Sta. Monica, San Simon.

PDEU chief Major Louie Gonzaga said two suspected drug dealers were arrested in the operation. He identified them as Kadim Dimatingkal, 23, considered a high-value target, and Abdulhamid Khalid, 25.

Gonzaga said a police poseur-buyer managed to buy a sachet of shabu from the suspects, prompting their immediate arrest.

In a subsequent body search, the suspects yielded five more medium-size sachets of shabu that all weighed 474 grams with an estimated value of P3,223,200.

Police said charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are set to be filed against the suspects.

This is the second time this week that the PDEU scored hits in its intensified anti-illegal drug campaign.

Only last Monday, the PDEU operatives led by Gonzaga himself arrested three suspected drug dealers in a similar sting operation in Barangay San Jose in the City of San Fernando.

Police seized from the suspects 63 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of no less than P430,000 in that operation. With media reports
