BALANGA CITY — Gov. Albert Garcia on Tuesday announced that Bataan registered 18 new confirmed cases and 18 new recoveries from the coronavirus disease.
This, the governor said, caused the rise in confirmed cases to 3,030 and the number of those who have recovered to 2,784.
The provincial health office said there are 183 active cases who are all isolated and 63 deaths from the virus.
The new confirmed cases are four from Orani, three each from Dinalupihan, Limay and Samal, two from Mariveles, and one each from Morong, Orion, and Balanga City. The oldest is 90 years old and the youngest at four years old.
Those who have newly recovered are 11 from Balanga City, four from Mariveles, two from Orani, and one from Limay, with the oldest at 70 years old and the youngest at three years old.
A total of 32,531 have so far undertaken Covid–19 tests with 29,241 already found negative and 260 still waiting for results.
