MARIVELES, Bataan — The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan on Saturday announced that it has launched a game show in social media as early Christmas treat to workers in the Freeport Area of Bataan here.
AFAB information officer Hazel Keith Ellorin said the game show that can be viewed through Facebook live was dubbed “12 Days of Fabulous Christmas.”
It airs at 6 p.m. every Friday and open to registered FAB workers.
AFAB administrator Emmanuel Pineda said the program aims to give joy, gratitude and assistance to the workers, especially in the midst of the pandemic.
“We hope to give you encouragement in the midst of this pandemic through the little help and fun that we will share with you in the coming weeks. What we went through in the middle of the pandemic has been very difficult, but in the coming Christmas, I hope for it to be an opportunity for us to unite, work together, and get together, but still with social distancing!” he said.
The game show segments are FABunotan, Feel in the Box, GC (gift certificate) o Kahon, and Tutok to Win. Participants have chances of winning any of the prizes such as P1,000–worth of groceries, 25 kilos of rice, sari-sari store package worth P10,000, and a brand new cellphone.
FAB workers may register by showing their valid FAB ID through the link provided by the AFAB Labor Center on its FB Page.
Ellorin said the game show has successfully ran its first four episodes and AFAB has given away 28 grocery packs, 17 grocery packs plus 25 kilos rice, seven sets of 25 kilos of rice P7,500 gift certificate, one Samsung Tablet, one Samsung A20S and one sari-sari store package worth P10,000 to 58 workers.
