Sellers of meat products during the Diskwento Caravan practice health protocols while selling their goods
PROVINCE OF TARLAC – The Diskwento Caravan on Wheels of DTI Tarlac started rolling on October 2, 2020 with its first stop in San Jose, Tarlac.
Diskwento Caravan is a yearly trade activity conducted by DTI in partnership with manufacturers/distributors of basic necessities and prime commodities where consumers can avail of these products at discounted prices.
With the province still under Modified General Community Quarantine, DTI-Tarlac remodeled the activity for the safety and convenience of the consumers. Unlike the usual Diskwento Caravan set up, this year, the goods were pre-ordered by the residents of San Jose through the LGU and these were delivered at San Jose Public Market for pick up.
“We would like to express our gratitude to the manufacturers, distributors and the LGUs for their efforts to help us bring the basic necessities and prime commodities to the consumers the easiest possible way especially at this time of pandemic,” DTI Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez said.
This coming October 22 and 29, 2020, DiskwentoCaravan on Wheels is set to roll once again in the towns of Anao and Mayantoc respectively.
Interested consumers from the said municipalities may coordinate with their respective barangay officials for thepricelist and their orders.
