SUBIC, Zambales — A vendor of souvenir items was arrested for vending illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation by the local police Tuesday morning in Barangay Calapacuan here.
Subic chief of police Captain Rolando Ballon said suspect Haidul Alibasa y Asdali alias Kinoko, 42, resident of Purok 6B, Barangay Calapacuan was arrested sfter selling a sachet of shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer.
Confiscated from Alibasa were 15 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu with a estimated weight of some 60 grams with estimatedstreet value of P200,000.
The suspect is now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)
