CABANATUAN CITY – Eleven persons from different walks of life were confirmed to be positive of the coronavirus disease, raising the total number of cases to 408 in Nueva Ecija on Tuesday.
The Nueva Ecija inter agency task force reported that of the number 166 have recovered, 18 died and 224 remained active cases.
The reports indicated that all patients in the latest list were of legal age, the oldest being a 57-year-old man.
Among the the cases were government and private employees, businessmen, and close contacts of previously diagnosed patients, the report showed. They came from different towns and cities of Nueva Ecija.
One of the three women in the list is wife of a previously identified as Covid-19 patient.
NEIATF head Gov. Aurelio Umali urged the public to always practice health protocols such as wearing of face masks, observing physical distancing, and disinfection among others to contain the spread of Covid-19.
