CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago, on Thursday, discussed with a property development firm the establishment of efficient and inter-connected transport terminal here.
This, after Megaworld Corporation, which is building a 35.6-hectare township project at the heart of the city along Capitol Boulevard, delivered its revised on-site presentation before a board meeting with the mayor.
Attorney Vic Bonaobra II, General Manager of Megaworld Terminal Division, said the corporation is now on the planning stage of realizing the terminal and that it would take them a month or weeks for it to be operational.
Meanwhile, Santiago thanked the corporation for considering all his suggestions and recommendations for the project to make it efficient for transport vehicles and transfer of people from point to point and decongest traffic in other areas of San Fernando.
Aside from the construction of residential condominiums and business process outsource office towers, civic and institutional facilities in the Capital Town, Megaworld had revealed that the Philippines’ new biggest Mcdonald’s branch will open in the area this November.
The builder had alreary resumed their construction while enforcing strict safety protocols on-site due to threats posed by the 2019 Coronavirus disease.
