CABANATUAN CITY – A total of 26 recoveries from coronavirus disease 2019 was recorded in Nueva Ecija on Tuesday, July 28.
This raised the number of people who recovered from Covid-19 in the province to 101, according to the Nueva Ecija inter-agency task force.
On the other hand, 13 new confirmed cases, including a 1-year-old girl here and 3-year-old boy from Aliaga, were reported on the same day.
Of the recoveries, 15 were from this city, two from Talavera, two from Santa Rosa, and one each from Cuyapo, Aliaga, Jaen, Quezon, Zaragoza, and San Isidro, the report showed.
Aside from the toddlers, among the new cases were a 72-year-old woman in Triala, Guimba who died on July 23; a 52-year-old woman in San Leonardo; an 81-year-old woman in Jaen; a 33-year-old man and 45-year-old detainee in this city.
Also included in the new cases were two female home caretakers, aged 57 and 60, in Aliaga town, according to NEIATF.
Record showed most of the cases had close contacts with the previous patients.
