CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda raised the alarm Friday over the increase in Covid-19 cases in the province.
The governor appealed to his constituents to take the necessary precautions to arrest the further spread of the disease: “Kailangan po ng pag-iingat.
“Kung hindi naman po maiiwasang bumisita, magpa-PCR test muna diyan sa Metro Manila bago kayo magpunta ng Pampanga,” he urged those who may have urgent need to travel to Pampanga.
Pineda also asked Kapampangan construction workers in Metro Manila not to stay or sleep in their barracks where there is bound to be close contact with others. He cited that the 18 Covid-19 patients in San Luis town are from the construction industry.
Undergoing a checkup is important, Pineda stressed, if anyone is experiencing symptoms.
“Importante na magpa-check up agad. Kinukuha po namin sila,” he said.
This, even as he reminded Kapampangans that the province is still under MGCQ and everyone should stay home, unless it is necessary to go out for essentials. Social gatherings are still prohibited, he said, even as he urged the wearing of face masks, washing of hands, and social distancing.
Mag social-distancing,” he said.
Proteksyunan ninyo ang inyong pamilya,” he appealed. — With Pampanga PIO
