CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Some 300 kindergarten teachers in Central Luzon participated in the capacity building virtual training on blended learning.
Entitled “Exploring Teaching Approaches in Flexible and Blended Learning at the Kindergarten Classroom, ”the activity was facilitated by the Curriculum and Learning Management Division of Department of Education.
“The training, which was held in three batches, aims to capacitate kindergarten teachers to adopt various flexible teaching and learning approaches in the kindergarten education program as well as develop and employ strategies and instructional approaches for facilitating and organizing learning activities for kindergarten learners,” DepEd regional director Nicolas Capulong said.
It also seeks to identify types of learning resources and their suitability and appropriateness based on the characteristics of kindergarten learners to fit their needs, Capulong added. — Carlo Lorenzo J. Datu/PIA–3
