CABANATUAN CITY – A 34-year-old seafarer who was identified as Patient 74 has recovered while a 40-year-chemist raised to 75 the confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nueva Ecija’s record.
The Nueva Ecija inter-agency task force said that Patient 74 who hails from Barangay San Roque, Cabiao tested negative in a recent second swab test after a 14-day strict home quarantine.
He was the latest sea-based worker to have been infected in the province.
Meanwhile, the chemist from Barangay Sto. Niñon 2nd, San Jose City is presently under quarantine in a facility there, said the NEIATF.
He has travel history in Bulacan where he, along with his co-workers in a feeds production company, underwent swab testing for Covid–19.
Reports said the patient went home on board a single motorcycle before the test result was announced.
