IBA, Zambales — A security guard and a driver were arrested in the act of selling a sachet of shabu to apolice poseur–buyer in separate drug sting operations laid out by police operatives in San Narciso and Masinloc towns.
Reports reaching the office of Zambales police directorCol. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, Jr., said that San Narciso police led by Captain Teddy Padauan arrested Bele June Pascual y Ducos, 40, driver and resident of Barangay Luna, San Antonio town.
Pascual was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Natividad inside a blue Toyota Vios where he and the poseur–buyer made a transaction.
Confiscated from the suspect were 11 transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 43 grams with an estimated street value of P294,000, ID cards, a cellphone, a passport and the Toyota Vios with plate number PCO-451.
In Masinloc, police chief Major Jude Bryan Maguddayao led in the arrest of suspect Ruby Egenias y Estella aka Bing, security guard and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Taltal.
Recovered from suspect were seven transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 1.191 grams with estimated street value of P8,000.
Both suspect were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Iba, Zambales.
