OLONGAPO CITY — A security guard and his cohort were arrested by operatives of the drug enforcement unit of Police Station 4 (PS4) in the act of selling shabu to apolice poseu–buyer in Barangay Cabalan here.
In his report to city police director Col. Benjamin Sembrano, Jr., PS4 commander Captain Walter Primero identified the suspects as Rommel Manalo y Adajar, 45, security guard and resident of Pag-Asa Street, Purok 4, and his cohort Bernard Camus y Alejandrino, 27, resident of Everlasting Street, Purok 5, both of Barangay New Cabalan.
The suspects were arrested selling a transparent plastic sachet of shabu worth P200 to an undercover policeman.
Recovered from suspects were thirty 30 transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 4.04 grams with a street value of P12,000.
The suspects were detained at PS4 detention cell facing charges for violation of RA 9165 and City Ordinance No. 6, Series of 2020 (Face mask and Social Distancing Ordinance).
