MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Mayor Crisostomo “Cris” Garbo announced that all COVID-19 confirmed patients in this city have recovered already.
“We praise God for this good news, that our COVID-19 patients have all recovered. Let’s continue to be safe and follow health protocols to maintain a COVID-19 free environment,” Garbo said.
According to the City Health Office (CHO), as of June 2, all nine patients who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier have yielded negative results.
The COVID-19 patients are from Barangays Bundagul, 1; Dapdap,1; Dau,3; Mabiga,2; Sta Ines,1; and Tabun,1.
Records showed that the city, as of press time, has a total of 60 suspected cases who are now being closely monitored by the CHO following guidelines and protocols by the DOH.
Mabalacat City is a premiere city of Pampanga and is a host to the Clark Freeport zone and the Clark Internaional Airport. It has a population of 280,000.
Majority of Clark Freeport Zone’s leading enterprises as well as the numerous hotels, casinos, golf courses, and resorts in Clark Freeport, are mostly situated in Mabalacat City.
