BALANGA CITY — Gov. Albert Garcia announced Wednesday afternoon that the number of confirmed coronavirus disease in Bataan climbed to 145 after 14 health workers tested positive of the virus.
The new cases are seven from Balanga City, two from Mariveles, three from Orion and one each from Dinalupihan and Pilar.
From Balanga are males aged 33, 27, 34, 36, and 38,and females, 31 and 30 years old.
From Mariveles are two females, 28 and 30 years old; Orion, 37 and 21, both males, and a 58- year-old female; Dinalupihan, a 33- year –ld male and from Pilar, a 33- year–old male.
Reported to have recovered are 79 patients while six died.
A few hours before the new report, a 2- year old girl and 17 health workers were reported to have recovered from the deadly virus.
The governor said that regular swabbing for health workers at the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center in Balanga continued.
BGHMC was turned into an exclusive facility for Covid- 19 patients.
