CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— The Police Regional Office 3
paid homage on Wednesday to frontliners while urging residents to stay home to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

A 50-kilometer inspection run of all “control checkpoints” along the stretch of the Valenzuela-Meycauayan boundary, McArthur Highway to Camp Olivas in this capital city led by PRO-3 director Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, was staged in homage to frontliners in the fight against the spread of Covid-19.

Sermonia inspected the enhanced community quarantine checkpoints and reminded his personnel to keep on implementing the guidelines strictly.

“Aside from appealing to our public to stay at home, this is also one way of challenging them to become physically fit amidst this pandemic because during these trying times, our health is our only wealth,” Sermonia said.

The ECQ has been extended until May 15 in the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales.

Meanwhile, the province of Aurora has been placed under a general community quarantine since May 1.
