OLONGAPO CITY — An 8-month-old baby girl and a female health worker are the latest confirmed cases of Covid-19 in this city, bringing the total to 11, as of Tuesday afternoon.
Mayor Rolen Paulino, Jr. said the baby has been admitted at a private hospital here since April 21 and is stable condition awaiting her second RT-PCR test.
Paulino said the female health worker is a 29-year-old resident of the city but works in Bataan province where she was swab tested last April 19. She is also reported to be in stable condition in a hospital in Bataan.
The mayor reiterated his call to his constituents to strictly follow the guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the city: “Stay home, wear mask, always follow social distancing.”
