CABANATUAN CITY – The number of confirmed Covid-19 patients on the road to recovery in Nueva Ecija has been reduced to 17 as seven have fully recovered as of Monday, May 4, according to the province’s inter-agency task force.
Total recoveries in the provinces now stand at to 26 while deaths remained at three.
Of the recoveries, this city has seven; Gapan City, six; San Isidro, three; San Antonio and Fort Magsaysay Military Camp,two each; and one each from Quezon, Gen. Mamerto Natividad, Jaen, Cuyapo, Licab and Laur, the NEIATF reported.
Of those recuperating, 10 came from this city, twofrom Santa Rosa and one each from Gapan City, Aliaga, Zaragoza, Rizal and San Leonardo.
Meanwhile, the Palayan City Health Office stressed that Patients Nos. 45 and 46 who have just fully recovered came from Fort Magsaysay Military Camp and were not residents of the city.
“Kaya ito ay hindi mapapabilang bilang isang kumpirmadong kaso ng ating lungsod,” the health office clarified, stating that the patients address was “positional or place of assignment” of Patient # 45 and “not a place of residence.”
“Ang Palayan City ay nananatili pa ring isang COVID-19 FREE CITY,” the office declared in its official social media page.
