Davao residents, including returning overseas Filipino workers, stranded in Clark due to travel restrictions imposed by the government have finally returned home May 4.

The Department of Tourism, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Clark International Airport Corp., Clark Development Corp. and the Davao City local government facilitated their AirAsia sweeper flight out of the CRK.

“We share the same joy with them, now that they’re finally reuniting with their families and loved ones. It was a pleasure to have provided help to our stranded passengers during this difficult time,” said Vince Dizon, BCDA president-CEO and newly-appointed Deputy Chief Implementer Against Covid-19.
