CABANATUAN CITY — Two women from this city, one a dialysis patient, were confirmed as the latest Covid-19 cases in Nueva Ecija by the provincial inter-agency task force Tuesday.
Quoting report from the Department of Health, the NEIATF said the two brought to 44 the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the province, with recoveries remaining at 15 and deaths at three.
Records showed Patient 43 is a 29-year-old resident of Barangay Sumacab Este who is now under strict home quarantine following her discharge from the hospital April 24.
Patient 44, on the other hand, is a 49–year-old dialysis patient from Barangay Bakod Bayan who is now confined at Wesleyan University-Philippines General Hospital.
With 26 surviving positive cases, Nueva Ecija has 872 patients under investigation. A total of 48 people have died while waiting tests result.
