Members of the NIA-UPRISS Division III employees association distribute lunch packs at checkpoints.
CABANATUAN CITY — Law enforcement and medical frontliners here received support from the officials and employees of the Division III of National Irrigation Administration-Upper Pampanga River Integrated Irrigation System (NIA-UPRIIS) on Monday.
Engr. Michael Q. Mejia, chapter president of the employees’ association NIAEASP NIA-UPRISS, led the distribution of lunch packs to policemen who were manning checkpoints in the city boundaries.

They also donated 50 personnel protective equipment to medical frontliners at the Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center, a referral hospital for Covid-19.
Mejia said they conducted the activity as a way of thanking the frontliners: “Bilang pasasalamat at pagkilala sa sakripisyo ng mga frontliners na sumasabak para mapigilan at masugpo ang Covid-19.”
Mejia also thanked members of their association, unit heads and NIA–UPRIIS Division III employees under the leadership of department manager Engr. Rosalinda B. Bote and division manager Engr. Jose Ariel G. Domingo.
“This is a very noble initiative of our employees for our brave frontliners,” Domingo said.
