CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A total of 201 home-based sewer beneficiaries of Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda’s “Home-based Face Mask Livelihood Program” received their pay after helping the provincial government produce reusable face masks for frontliners.
Board member Olga Frances “Fritzie” David-Dizon supervised the payment of P3,000 to each beneficiary in Sta. Rita and Porac towns.
This, after they produced 600 pieces of reusable face masks, which are now being used by healthcare workers, police, government workers, and other essential personnel in the province who go to work so that people may stay at home to contain the spread of the virus.
According to the Provincial Manpower Training Center, another set of payment will be made within the week for beneficiaries in the towns of Guagua, Porac, Sta. Rita, Lubao, Apalit, Mabalacat, San Simon, Bacolor, and the City of San Fernando.
The provincial government is expecting to produce more than 100,000 reusable face masks once all finished products have been collected.
