ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr., will impound tricycles which continue to operate despite the temporary ban on mass transportation.

Lazatin ordered the members of the Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO) and Public Transportation and Regulatory Office (PTRO) to monitor public highways and major thoroughfares.

Lazatin further said that the apprehended vehicles will just be released once the State of National Health Emergency in the country has been lifted.

“Akwa yu la mu pu reng saken yu oras na beba da ne ing utus ning State of National Health Emergency king bansa tamu,” he added.

He also thanked the drivers who are following the quarantine rules to assure safety of their families and to help in preventing the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
